It's been a minute (more like 6.7 million)

As of today, the posts on this little blog of mine might be categorized as F.N. or E.N., meaning every post prior to this one was written when my home was a "full nest." So, this post and ones to follow are in the era of "empty(ing) nest." 

I began this blog when I had three littles at home, and, boy, was it fun! But when my husband, who's a pastor, was called to a different church in 2013, two of us moved a couple of hours away, while the rest of us stayed put and finished the school year. We eventually settled into our new town, but blogging got lost in the busyness of work, raising my babies, and managing my home. Now, as my children are almost "grown and gone," I'm eager to encourage women like me who struggle with comparison and perfectionism to enjoy life and all God has given us!

It's a new day. Social media is far more impactful than blogging, so there may be a shift from this venue to Facebook, Instagram, etc. I'll be sure to indicate any such shifts here.
