✨ A Lovely Children’s Christmas Picture Book About Giving
If you’re looking for a meaningful holiday story to read aloud with children, The Sparkle Box is a beautiful choice...
Through simple storytelling, it helps children understand that giving doesn’t have to be big or flashy to matter — sometimes the smallest, most thoughtful gifts mean the most. It’s especially fitting during the Christmas season, when conversations about generosity, kindness, and gratitude feel close to the surface and easy to share.
This story always makes me reflect on how we show care and generosity during the holidays. How do you take care of family and friends at Christmas — in big ways or small ones?
I’d love to hear in the comments.

We will check in on them, bring them some cookies and hospitality- the holidays can be lonely.
You usually bring another family cookies or dinner who we know can not get out
I am so excited about this. My son is 14 and has lost what Christmas is really about. We will hold doors open, smile at everyone walking by and say hello, let people check out before us, make a gift for someone that would least expect it, and pass along this story and box next year. I think we will purchase a gift like this for a family next year. It will be our ritual.
We might also send cards to soldiers
